Shredded Oaxaca Cheese - 300 g

Oaxaca cheese is a Mexican pasta filata cheese, also known as "quesillo." It is often used in Mexican cuisine to prepare dishes such as quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, and many more. This cheese is made from pasteurized cow's milk, and has a stringy texture and a mild, slightly tart flavor. We are fortunate to have a version of Oaxaca cheese made here in Quebec by Fromagerie Rumba in Val-des-Sources. This Quebec version of Oaxaca cheese is produced using the same artisanal methods as the Mexican version, and offers an equally delicious flavour and texture.
