Cream cheese - Cuajada - approx. 340 g

Cuajada cheese is a fresh cheese that originated in Latin America and is very popular in Mexican cuisine. It is made from curdled cow's milk and is often used in hot dishes and sauces. Its texture is soft and creamy, and its slightly tart taste pairs perfectly with spices and herbs. We are lucky to have a version made here in Quebec by the Rumba cheese factory in Val-des-Sources. Their version of Cuajada is just as tasty and creamy as the original version, and can be used in many Mexican and Latin recipes to add an authentic and delicious twist.
